Data analytics & BI
From raw data to numbers people trust.
Reporting works when numbers are consistent, traceable and organised around real questions. We build the data foundations and reports that make that possible — including Power BI-oriented solutions.
Operational systems, files and spreadsheets — each with its own structure, timing and quality issues.

One definition per metric
Most reporting disputes are definition disputes.
Before building a dashboard we write down what each number means, where it comes from and who owns it. This is an example of the artefact we produce.

Principles
Four ideas behind useful reporting.
Integrate around definitions
Data from different systems is cleaned and organised around agreed definitions, so the same question always gets the same answer.
Design backwards from decisions
Reports start with who reads them, how often, and what they do next.
Structure improves visibility
A well-modelled warehouse makes trends and exceptions visible across departments, not just within one system.
Fewer, better indicators
A few well-chosen KPIs with drill-down can replace dozens of static reports and long email threads.
Next step
Tell us what needs to work better.
Describe the system, process or report in a few lines. We'll reply with questions, a suggested starting point and an honest view of fit.
